Our Mission
Charlie's Choice is dedicated to serving humanity's most basic needs by providing funding to credible non-profit organizations working to alleviate global hunger, build safe shelters, and end the clean water crisis. Our mission is driven by the core belief that every person deserves to have food in their belly, a roof over their head, and clean water in their cup.
2024 Giving
In 2024, Charlie's Choice raised ~$15,400 and contributed to two non-profit organizations: Stand Up For Kids and Splash. Your generosity is making a real difference in building a better world.
StandUp for Kids is a national non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of youth homelessness in local communities. Since 1990, they have served unaccompanied homeless and at-risk youth— and young parents with children of their own—up to their 25th birthday. Through their four core programs—Youth Outreach, Housing Support, School Mentoring, and Food Access—they help move youth from crisis to connection, providing a sense of safety, hope, and belonging.
Splash is committed to implementing large-scale clean water solutions. By utilizing existing technology and supply chains from leading food and hospitality industries, Splash aims to achieve full coverage across their platform—ensuring every orphanage in China, every public school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and every child-serving institution in Kolkata, India, among others, have reliable access to clean water and sanitation resources.

An update on our well in Akee-Kololo in northern Uganda
About DROP
Drop in the Bucket (DROP) is a California-based charity focused on bringing sustainable, long-term solutions to the Sub-Saharan water and sanitation crisis. As part of building sustainable clean water solutions, DROP is working to create a more equitable world by enabling children, particularly girls, to go to school instead of spending hours collecting water.
DROP wells
DROP aims to build wells in schools or villages where a well will benefit between 400-1200 people. Wells usually take between 3-9 months to locate and build.
0ur Charlie's Choice Well
In 2024 we were able to sponsor a end-to-end well build! The well is in a village named Akee-Kololo in northern Uganda. Over the next two years we will receive updates on how the well is impacting the community and we look forward to sharing these updates with our Charlie's Choice community. It's been incredibly special to be able to impact communities in such a meaningful way, and in Charlies' memory.

It's amazing to think that combining even the small donations of many, has enabled us to collectively change the day-to-day lives of entire communities.
Financial Update
To date, Charlie's Choice has raised over $106k and contributed to several excellent non-profit organizations that support our mission. Of the $106k raised, $46k has come from public donations and Charlie's Choice has given $56k to charities.
What is the difference between the $106k raised and the $56k given to charities? A portion of the Prince family private funding is held aside as principal, earning interest over time and enabling Charlie's Choice to make an ongoing impact. Every dollar YOU donate goes directly toward providing food, water, and shelter to those who need it most.
